The guy from my neighbourhood ,skinny old jagged rocker , you got impression that he is just mummified with the mixture of nicotin ,coffein ,cocain and alcohol and he will stay forever like this .His leather jacket is also mummified in the same fashion.

Smogy Boy

Long time ago I did this one ,it was somehow autobiographical-graphical approach to
film noir .The hero was rat in rats land and it is the story of diplomatic immunity ,love ,
cannibalism and very dark inking with Windsor & Newton series 7 brushes . People like it.
It was darkly funny and somehow my life in Zagreb ,Croatia ,former Yugoslavia was described
there. At that time I worked in social security company translating the files of injuries at
work to the numeric codes for the electronic files. Sometimes it was almost like Kafka ,
for example : in the factory restaurant somebody accidentally put spoon in his eye ,
or one factory worker is living in deserted bus near the factory .It was three of us in the office ,
all heavy smokers ,litres of black Turkish coffee. Me ,aspiring comic book artist ,older lady ,she was knitting all the time and skinny ,nervous guy reading sports journals all the time ,
he had his vocabulary ,the cigarettes were smoking sticks ,the coffee was black good smelling liquid ,he telephone was talking box etc.
The work was easy and I had some time to develop this.
It was published in eight countries ,sharing is everything .
